Alicia Weber Cully is a visual artist based in Southern Michigan. She earned an MFA in Studio Art from Georgia Southern University and holds a BS in Secondary Education, specializing in Language Arts with a minor in Visual Arts.
Combining her expertise in art, education, and holistic practices—including a Ministry License in Metaphysics and a Master Teacher level in Reiki—she creates works designed to inspire positivity and personal growth.
Her artistic practice spans a variety of mediums, from two-dimensional stain paintings to sculptures and interactive installations crafted from natural materials such as copper, stone, and wood. A distinctiv e hallmark of her work is her technique of applying translucent, pigmented wood stains with her fingers, allowing the natural wood grain to enhance and enrich each image. This unconventional approach results in a depth and texture that set her pieces apart from traditional oil or watercolor paintings.
Each of her symbolic artworks is carefully designed to evoke a subconscious connection to uplifting and empowering themes. Through this intentional fusion of material, technique, and meaning, her creations foster an emotional resonance that spreads positivity—inviting viewers to experience and share an uplifting ripple effect in their own lives.
